CASTLE PILL FARM
WOODLAND WALKING
Our farm cottages and glamping site benefits from being at the intersection of different footpaths for you to take a walk through this beautiful countryside. At the foot of the garden at Castle Pill and the Driveway at Riverside, you will find the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, where you can branch off and take a detour through ancient woodland, riverside trails or rural spaces.

FARM PRODUCE
The cottage is situated on the edge of our family’s working eco-farm but sadly access to fields and farm is no longer permitted for safety and insurance reasons. We do, however, sell our home-grown greens, freshly-laid eggs, woodland pork and sustainably reared fish from our aquaponics tunnel (when available), so just let us know when you arrive if you are interested in sampling any of our produce.

COASTAL PATH & BEACHES
HEADING BEACHWARD
Pembrokeshire’s coastline is magnificent and diverse; plunging cliffs meet frothing seas in some places and crystal clear waters lap gently at hidden coves in others. Pembrokeshire’s coastline was made to be enjoyed: there are beaches for lazy days, or the coastal path for walking and taking in the stunning scenery.

PEMBROKESHIRE COASTAL PATH
Opened in 1970, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path was the first National Trail in Wales and is one of 15 National Trails in Britain. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path National Trail hugs the coastline for 186 miles or 299km of some of the most breathtaking coastal scenery in Britain. From St Dogmaels in the north to Amroth in the south, the trail covers almost every kind of maritime landscape from steep limestone cliffs, undulating red sandstone bays, volcanic headlands, beaches, estuaries and flooded glacial valleys.

WATERSPORTS
GET IN THE WATER!!
Pembrokeshire’s coastline is not just there to be observed, those of you who prefer to get your heart racing can entertain yourselves with some coasteering, surfing, kayaking...etc.

SNORKELLING
St Brides Bay offers good water visibility, making it renowned as a great UK snorkelling or diving spot. So if you have some swimming or snorkelling gear and want to do something solo then why not head here.
​
COASTEERING, SURFING, BOAT TRIPS, WINDSURFING, SAILING ETC.
West Wales Watersports offers most of the above activities, along with a light cruise aboard the Dale Princess or a more high speed boat trip in the Dale Sea Safari rib to explore the cliffs and coves of Skomer, Skokholm and Grassholm. Head to Newgale or Broad Haven (Big Blue experience, TYF, Haven Sports) if you fancy hiring a surfboard, kayak or paddle board for some more extreme activities with more waves. TYF offer a great set of coastal adventures; coasteering being one of the more popular. Come pay them a visit, we highly recommend!

CASTLES & HISTORY
A LITTLE CULTURE AND HISTORY
We recommend you take in a bit of the Pembrokeshire history while you are staying here. The landscape is peppered with everything from mysterious prehistoric tombs to medieval castles and Celtic religious shrines. Pembroke Castle and Carew Castle are undoubtedly the finest castles in Pembrokeshire.
